Wild Women’s Hike
March 16 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pmFree
Join us for our March hike at Browning Mountain in Nashville, IN! Browning Mountain also known as Indiana’s Stonehenge is one of our most mysterious spots in the state. Make sure to dress for the weather, the terrain is steep in some places and the trail is rugged. We will take our time as a group to explore this beautiful trail!
36 Franklin St. Nashville, IN 47448
We will car pool over from here to the trail head because there is very little parking where we will enter the trail. The trail at first is a very steep uphill to the site of the mysterious sandstone boulders said to be from Native Americans ceremonies in the area. After the hike we plan to have lunch at The Bird’s Nest Cafe, everyone is welcome to join us!
The Wild Women’s Hike series is a program dedicated to getting more women and girls feeling comfortable and confident in the outdoors. We feel diversity is a competitive advantage and in order to create change for women and girls in the outdoors we need allies to support this. Therefore men or those who identify as gender fluid or gender neutral are invited to attend these events. <3
