Join us for a wild women’s hike in beautiful Brown County State Park. We will hike Trail 4. Meet us at the parking lot for the Rally campsites. This is right before you would enter the Campground area, across from the children’s playground.
We will hike down Trail 4 and hike around Ogle Lake and back up. The total mileage is 3 miles with about 317 ft. of elevation gain. This is one of our favorite hikes in the park!
Make sure to wear appropriate clothing for the hike, dress for the weather. We recommend layers, a hat, a sturdy shoe or hiking boot. Bring a small pack with water and snacks and anything else you might need for the hike.
Join us for a wild women’s hike at Jimmy Nash City Park in Martinsville, IN. We will hike the roughly 1.5 mile trail loop in the park. February is Black History Month and to celebrate that is our theme for the hike! I have some links below of some organizations that focus on getting more people of color outdoors like Outdoor Afro, Diversify Outdoors, Brown People Camping, Melanin Base Camp and many others! The hike is beginner friendly, please make sure you dress for the weather, we look forward to seeing you there!

DNK Presents organizes and guides empowering adventure experiences for individuals, groups and businesses. We specialize in women’s specific events that support women, girls and people in the LGBTQ community to live adventurously. We started doing free monthly wild women’s hikes to get more women and girls outside feeling more comfortable and confident in the outdoors. We believe that inclusivity is an asset and we know that in order to move the needle for women we need the support of our male allies, and those who are gender neutral or gender fluid to support this cause. We invite people of all ages, we’ve had mother’s wrap their children on themselves before and folks well into their 80s hike with us. We welcome people of all colors and cultural backgrounds! If you believe in getting more women and girls outdoors and empowering them through nature, then you are welcome to participate in these events with us!
